Yesterday was another Saint George's Day, so once again an excuse for people to be 'patriotic'. I saw a T-shirt with the statement "a day for the English". Sounded like some crap from the EDL, but it wasn't. I really don't give a toss about Saint George, the fictional dragon, or his day. And I'm English.

The Mansfield Xmas lights switch on
The 'grand' switch on was on Thursday the 12th of November. Yes, the 12th of November. Why? Really, why? Can't they at least wait until it's actually December? First, the things I liked:
Oh well, it was good for some photography.
- The inflatable stage cover. That always looks cool.
- The random appearance of Barney the Dinosaur.
- The snow machine. More on this later though.
- Two great big video screens.
Oh well, it was good for some photography.

The war in Afghanistan
Just fuck it.
Nothing is worth the needless loss of life, and basically, that's what it is. Worried about terrorism? Then do something to protect us over here then! Pull all the troops out (both UK and US) and bloody leave it alone! It's Iraq all over again...

Nick Griffin on Question Time
I will start by saying that I think it was a great idea of the BBC. Why? Well it showed him for what he is. A racist fascist homophobic idiot. As for the anti-fascist protesters, I think that wasn't such a good idea? Why? Well I think it was best to expose him for what he is. Much as I support them, that wasn't the best way of going about it. The programme itself made for superb viewing. It was so great to see him digging himself into a bigger hole every second he spoke. And then to Mr Griffin himself. Why did he feel the need to try to laugh everything off? Could it be because he was basically shitting himself, and knew he couldn't get out of it? I think yes.
Please BBC, more of this.

The rise of the fuckwits
What is it with chavs? They are all scummy idiots, whose only contribution to society is via the idiot tax, also known as lottery scratch cards. The sooner that the DWP crack down on these scroungers the better. And then of course, you've got the way they look. They all hang around each other like a pack of zombie clones, hoods up, cap brims bent round at impossible angles, tracksuit bottoms, and trainers that only get use when they are running away from the Police. The words 'individual' and 'style' are completely lost on them. And then, you've got the way they love to play shite 'music' on their mobile phones on the bus or train. Just how much more cunty do they want to be? If they are the future of this country, please stop it as I want to get off.
